YouTube RESTORES Trump after two years: former president lifted ban from another online platform and can now post videos to 2.5 million followers
YouTube has reinstated Donald Trump’s ban after a two-year suspension.
The Google-owned platform lifted the ban in place since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot as the 2024 campaign gets underway.
Leslie Miller, YouTube’s vice president of public policy, said Friday that Trump can now upload videos to his channel, which has 2.5 million followers.
Trump has also been allowed back on Facebook and Instagram following his suspension over his comments when a mob stormed the Capitol in 2021.
He also recovered on Twitter, but didn’t post and opted to use Truth Social.
