The widow of the late actor Lance Reddick enjoyed a quiet, humble life with the Hollywood star for nearly 25 years before his tragic death at age 60.
Their low-key wedding in Minnesota in 2011 typified their humble lifestyle, which took place more than 12 years after they met when he performed at a theater where she worked.
Despite starring in numerous blockbusters, most recently John Wick 4, Reddick seemingly enjoyed an unpretentious relationship with his blushing bride.
While his co-stars indulged in lavish ceremonies, Stephanie insisted on just two lines. “One was that everyone should have fun,” she said MspMag.
And the other was Lance couldn’t see my dress until I walked down the aisle. That was it.’

The pair first met at Minnesota’s Gurthrie Theater in 1999, where Stephanie worked while Lance was in a play.
Stephanie, Lance’s second wife, shared two children with the late actor, Yvonne and Christopher.
She’s made countless red carpet appearances over the years as her husband starred in hits like White House Down, The Blacklist, and Godzilla vs Kong.
And while they spent most of their days in their stylish $2.5 million mansion in Los Angeles, the couple decided to tie the knot in Minnesota to pay homage to their humble roots.
After a lavish Hollywood ceremony, they chose the Midwest state, having their first meeting there in 1999 while Stephanie was working on the set of the Gurthrie Theater.
She opted for an intimate ceremony between close friends and Stephanie’s understated approach was on full display as she detailed her choice of floral arrangements and clothing.
“I told (the florist) I didn’t care what the flowers were, as long as they were pretty,” Stephanie said.
“She suggested peonies because they were in season at the time. I didn’t even know what color the flowers were going to be until the day of the wedding, and they turned out beautiful.”
After insisting that Reddick couldn’t see her dress before the big day, his Hollywood fortune was put aside, as she later admitted, “I found it online for $250, including shipping.”
“Lance picked it up at the post office and it fit perfectly. My favorite part of the wedding day was when my mom saw me in my dress and she started crying.”
Lance landed a role in her theater five years after earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama.
His breakthrough came in 2001 after being cast in The Wire, and he would appear in all 60 episodes alongside stars like Dominic West and Idris Elba.
But throughout his time as a Hollywood star, Lance managed to keep his family life private.

Tributes have poured in for the actor following news of his tragic passing, which came as he was in the middle of a promotional tour for the latest chapter in his John Wick franchise.
Guardians of the Galaxy actor James Gunn said: ‘Lance Reddick was an incredibly nice guy and an incredibly talented actor.
“This is heartbreaking. My love goes out to all his family, friends and associates.’
“A man of great strength and grace,” added Wendell Pierce, his co-star on The Wire.
‘Equally talented musician as actor. The epitome of class. A sudden unexpected sharp painful sadness for our artistic family.
An unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. Thank God my friend. You made your mark here. REST IN PEACE’
