Taylor Swift commands attention in shimmering leotard and silver boots on her Eras tour 

Taylor Swift made sure all eyes were on her when she took the stage at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday for her The Eras Tour.

The singer, 33, looked nothing short of sensational for the performance as she slipped into a shimmering blue, gold and silver leotard.

The garment had a sequin embellishment, while Taylor elongated her body with a pair of silver boots.

The hitmaker also wore a striking gold necklace and allowed her blonde locks to fall loosely over her shoulders.

In another look, Taylor wore a black form-fitting jumpsuit with a red shimmer detail as she entertained the crowd.

Taylor also gave her fans a blast from the past when she donned a “We are never ever getting back together” T-shirt while performing the 2012 hit.

For a different look, Taylor looked ethereal in a white sheer dress with a high collar and flowing train.

It comes after the star was honored with the Innovator Award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night.

While accepting the award, the singer-songwriter spoke of her desire to try new things instead of focusing on making tried and tested music.

She also said part of her secret was that she gave herself “permission to fail” as she tried to turn her career upside down.

Taylor’s award was presented by her friend and travel companion Phoebe Bridgers, who appeared in a sleek black sleeveless satin dress with spaghetti straps and a flower-like bloom across her chest.

The guitarist appeared nervous as she serenaded Taylor, who she said inspired her when she first started writing her own songs.

“I like public speaking, I don’t shake,” she joked at the beginning.

Phoebe, who wore platinum-dyed hair, said she recognized as a child that songs were “written by adults about their adult lives,” but had to improvise without that knowledge.

“So when I started writing, I made things up. The songs sucked, and I knew it,” she said, to laughter from the audience.

But she later described that a few years later she was listening to a country radio station in the car with her mother — who was in the audience — and that’s when she had an epiphany after being introduced to Taylor and one of her songs.

“I heard a girl, not much older than me, sing a song she wrote about her own life. And the song was really good. As I grew up, Taylor grew, and so did her songs,” Phoebe said.

Subsequently, the awards show showed a tribute video with several of Taylor’s friends and associates praising her as a recording artist and songwriter. Some had an obvious connection to Swift, while others seemed to be mere fans, such as Shang Chi star Simu Liu.

The parade of stars included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness, Miles Teller, Dolly Parton, Ice Spice, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Justin Timberlake.

Dolly noted how she and Taylor had similar career paths as they went from country musicians to pop stars — and the two have even dabbled in acting on occasion.

Simu praised her ability to make “beautiful music” out of all the “negativity” she encounters in the world, while Ed said Taylor’s Midnights single Anti-Hero was one of the best pop songs ever.

Jonathan Van Ness hailed Taylor for advocating “queer and trans people” during his “talking head” segment.

Selena said Taylor didn’t “sign up” to be a “role model” for millions of fans, but that it was something that people just have “inherent in you.”

Taylor opened her speech by thanking her friends who appeared in the video, as well as her traveling companion Phoebe.

She joked that she never woke up thinking she was going to “innovate some things,” but she always tried to make the “best decision” for herself, whether or not there was a track record for that approach.

Taylor said people in her company were often focused on what had “precedent,” and new ideas and approaches were not often appreciated.

The Folklore singer appreciated her fans for sticking with her even as her songwriting changed and she switched genres.

She concluded by noting that she gives herself permission to fail, and she urged her fans to give themselves that same permission.
