American actress Sydney Sweeney has taken a break from her busy filming schedule to visit Luna Park this weekend.

The rising star, 25, visited the popular Sydney attraction on Saturday with her friends and colleagues, including Glen Powell, Darren Barnet and Hadley Robinson.

She posted a number of photos of their escapades over the iconic location on Instagram on Saturday.

“Have a nice day at my park with my friends,” she wrote.

Sydney and her group of fans were photographed participating in a variety of activities, including riding a rollercoaster and taking in the sights of the city’s skyline.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her friends off the movie set, donning a summer outfit, sunglasses and a touch of jewelry.

Fellow film actress Kate Bosworth gave her seal of approval.

She relived her inner youth after sharing her recommendation from the city.

Sydney has seen filming in locations around the city, including the inner-city suburb of Surry Hills and Double Bay, in the east of the city.

The yet-to-be-titled romantic comedy is filmed in Sydney and is directed by Will Gluck, who helmed the rom-coms Easy A and Friends With Benefits.

Details about the plot of the R-rated movie are being kept under wraps, but the movie will also star Bryan Brown, Michelle Hurd, Hadley Robinson, and Darren Barnet.

The project is expected to bring in AUD$41 million to the local New South Wales economy and create more than 440 jobs for cast and crew.
