Social media users have sent condolences to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after he announced his 2024 presidential bid only to be upstaged by the death of ‘Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ Tina Turner.
Twitter users were quick to joke that the 44-year-old Republican was upstaged, one writing: ‘Tina Turner, simply the best. Ron DeSantis, simply the worst.
Another said: “Tina Turner steps out in her usual brash, unapologetic style, upstaged by Ron DeSantis’ presidential announcement.”
