Groom Dan Hunjas was removed from boys night on Married At First Sight after reportedly having a “heated row” with Rupert Budgen over the infamous butt dial scandal.
However, Rupert, 27, has denied these claims, but also admitted he doesn’t remember much about the drunken night.

“I just told him the truth and he accepted, we shook hands and there was absolutely no bad blood,” he said.

The groom added that people accused him of “being a dirty dog” for betraying Dan, but he believes he was right and the groom should have just said sorry for what he said about his wife Sandy.
Two weeks ago on the show, Evelyn Ellis, Rupert’s wife, claimed he accidentally called her during a night out with the other grooms.
During this call, she said that she overheard Dan talking about his wife Sandy Jawanda, so she told her co-wife all the details leading up to a huge argument with the couple.

However, leaked texts obtained by Daily Mail Australia seem to prove that the “butt dial” storyline was staged, and it’s more likely that Rupert simply relayed the things Dan said about Sandy that night to his wife.
Rupert has now denied that the butt dial never happened, but did admit he talked to his wife about some of the things his fellow grooms said about their partners.
“A lot of people come to me for that, but if you don’t talk to your wife or partner about everything, it has to be the most boring relationship ever,” he said.
