Purple Wiggle John Pearce reveals he is now ‘cautious’ about posting topless photos

John Pearce boasts a mixed entertainment career, going from a Justice Crew member to a Ninja Warrior star before transitioning to a children’s entertainer.

Now the 31-year-old twink, who was appointed Purple Wiggle in 2021, says he should be “careful” about the “thirst traps” he posts online.

In an interview with Stellar magazinedue out on Sunday, the former singer spoke about his online persona versus his image as a child artist.

“Taking your shirt off and being a kid entertainer isn’t in the same room. I am fully aware of that,” he told the publication.

“You know, we have to be super careful. People are entitled to their opinion and can say what they want.’

He continued, “I try not to let any of the comments, positive or negative, affect what I’m here for – which is making music for kids.”

Pearce recently spoke about the attention he has received for his good looks, especially from the mothers of his young audience.

Speaking to news.com.au, he said he is grateful for the support of his wife of four years, Jessie Pearce.

‘She loves it. She’s a super supportive woman and always has been since day one,” he said.

“I love having someone in your life who will bring out the best in you and she’s always been on board with things like that.”

However, Pearce said she might join him when The Wiggles begin their 2023 tours.
