Prince William and Kate Middleton share family photo with George, Charlotte and Louis for Mother’s Day
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared heartwarming new family photos of Kate spending quality time with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to mark Mother’s Day.
On their Instagram account, the royal couple shared two photos of Kate with their children at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk last year.
The first portrait – taken by photographer Matt Porteous – shows the Princess of Wales and her three children sitting in a tree.
Dressed casually in a white blouse, jeans and white trainers, the Princess of Wales has styled her hair in her signature loose waves.
Meanwhile, her two sons wore blue shorts and short-sleeved shirts for the photo shoot, while Charlotte donned a denim jumpsuit with red tassels.

The second image shows Kate lovingly cradling her youngest son Prince Louis, aged four, in her arms.
While beaming down at him, Louis is seen cute holding his mother’s hand.
The couple captioned the post: “Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours.”
The newly released photos were taken on the same day as their Christmas card from last year.
For this family shoot, Kate and William turned to their favorite – and most trusted – photographer Matt Porteous.
The environmental photographer previously captured the photo they used for their 2021 Christmas card, as well as Prince George’s third birthday portraits.
The post from the Prince and Princess of Wales has already garnered 90,000 likes and fans rushed to gush over the sweet images.
One replied, “Happy Mother’s Day Princess of Wales and to all the mothers celebrating today.” Beautiful pictures!’

Earlier today, King Charles celebrated Mother’s Day without the Queen for the first time by sharing a poignant childhood photo with his ‘beloved mama’.
The monarch, 74, and queen consort Camilla, 75, showed their support for others who have lost parents on their Instagram account this morning.
Charles and Camilla captioned the message: “To all mothers everywhere, and to those who may be missing their mother today, we are thinking of you and wishing you a special Mother’s Day.”
The first image in their joint post showed King Charles as a toddler standing on his mother’s lap as they posed for a photo.
The blonde monarch, dressed in a white-collared dress, beamed at the camera and grabbed his mother’s hand in the undated image.

Meanwhile, the Queen – Princess Elizabeth at the time – looked radiant in a fitted gray dress and pearl necklace.
Her Majesty – who was just 22 when she gave birth to King Charles – smiled from afar and had her brown hair styled in her signature curls and wore pale orange lipstick.
Today marks King Charles’ first ever Mothering Sunday without his ‘beloved mother’ – who passed away last September at the age of 96.
In the poignant post, Queen Consort Camilla also shared a heartwarming photo with her late mother Rosalind Shand, who sadly passed away in 1994.
The image – which comes from Camilla’s private family collection – shows the royal family dressed in a bright red jacket and gold chain as she beams next to her late mother.
Rosalind – who was the daughter of Roland Cubitt, the third Baron Ashcombe – also looked glamorous in a polka dot blouse, bird-shaped brooch and pearl earrings.

The post has racked up more than 240,000 likes since it was uploaded in the early hours of the morning – and royal fans showed their support in the comments.
