Powerball numbers: One winner of Thursday’s $50million draw

One lucky Aussie became a millionaire overnight after hitting the entire $50 million Powerball just one month before Christmas.

The Thursday night 1384 drawing winning numbers were 6, 9, 14, 25, 27, 31, 33 and the Powerball was 15.

A single winner has taken home the entire $50 million jackpot.

Details about who won the mega Powerball are scant, but the ticket was purchased in the ACT or in NSW.

In Division Two, 26 lucky winners will split over $811,000 between them, each taking home $31,222.55.

The draw comes just weeks after a group of 20 fellow miners took home $53.3 million in the country’s biggest Powerball jackpot to date.

October’s $160 million mega Powerball was won by just three lucky winners, each making themselves around $53 richer.

The union said a rainbow had formed over the mine site just before the life-changing victory, with one joking that it was their ‘pot of gold’.
