Police have interviewed a woman under caution over the leaking of Ferne McCann’s voting notes, it has been revealed.
In November 2022, an anonymous Instagram account called Lady Whistledown after Bridgerton’s undercover gossip sharer posted a series of voice messages from a woman they claimed was Ferne.
The pregnant reality star, 32, has since admitted the voice in the messages was hers, describing it as her “low point”, saying she has been in therapy since the incident.
The posts include messages of Ferne Fat shaming her former boyfriend, fellow reality star Sam Faiers.
In another, her voice can be heard labeling Sophie Hall, one of the victims of acid attacker Arthur Collins – who is Ferne’s ex-boyfriend – a “silly bastard.”

Ferne, who is expecting her first child with 31-year-old fiance Lorri Haines, said yesterday she was “a different person now” and that the infamous shooting happened six years ago when she was in a “vulnerable situation.”
The Met has now confirmed that a woman was interviewed under caution, but the investigation is ongoing.
A police spokesman said so The sun: ‘In November 2022, the police received a report of malicious communication and intimidation.
The report was initially handled by Essex Police, but was later turned over to the Met after it was established that the offenses allegedly occurred in Redbridge.
In January 2023, a woman in her thirties was interviewed under caution. Our investigation is ongoing.’
On the first episode of Ferne’s new show First Time Mum, which aired last night, she revealed that she thinks she knows who is behind the leak, which she believes is why she needs therapy.
In a confessional, she told viewers she knows exactly who leaked the voice notes, but claimed they were edited “to remove their context.”
The former TOWIE star also admitted the sense of loss she felt after her argument with best friend, Billy Faiers, 33, over the posts.

On last night’s ITVBe show, Ferne confessed that she recorded the ‘hurtful’ messages because she was jealous of Billie’s sister Sam, aged 32, at the time.
She said: “When I heard the voice notes I immediately remembered who I sent them to, but I believe they have since been edited to remove their context.
‘Why? Because I think someone is trying to destroy me and do as much damage to my life as possible. There is only one person I know would want to inflict so much pain and damage on my life. They destroyed me.’
She added during the episode, “I’m so embarrassed and embarrassed and I know the words are very hurtful. It was from a time when I was in real pain, and in a very vulnerable and bad place,” she explained as she sat in her car thinking.
“They were from about five years ago, when me and Sam got into a fight. It’s very hard for me to talk about this because I don’t want to talk about the past. Would I say those things now? Absolutely not, but the ones I have absolutely apologized for.
“But now because of this hate campaign and this person holding them for five years to weaponize them against me, I’ve lost my… I’ve lost some of my best friends.
“I’ve lost my entire relationship with Billie, and it really hurts.
“She’s been my best friend for so many years, and that plays into where I don’t feel whole, I feel really lost.” Friendships are so important.
“And you say things where when you’re angry, or when you’re hurt, you say things.”
Ferne previously faced calls to cancel her show after the anonymous Instagram account leaked the voice notes.
It is alleged that they were referring to Sophie Hall, who reached the final of a Miss England final 15 months after the sickening attack and exposed her scars.

Confession: She further described the incident as not her ‘finest hour’ and revealed that she had tried to contact those hurt by the incident
Collins is currently serving 20 years in prison after throwing acid at an east London nightclub in April 2017, injuring 14 people.
Ferne was blasted by acid attack victim Sophie Hall, 27, for her recent “insincere” apology after calling her “ugly” in the leaked voice notes.
Ferne apologized and admitted she was the voice in shocking audio files, but claimed she recorded them because she feared “serious injury and significant threats.”
Sophie has since demanded that Ferne say sorry to her on camera, claiming she couldn’t read her apology statement since Ferne blocked her on Instagram.
