One of Australia’s most prominent plus size models, Karina Irby, has debuted her incredible body transformation after facing backlash for losing weight.
The Gold Coast bikini designer, 32, posted before and after photos to her Instagram page, showing off her results after completing a 12-week diet and fitness challenge.
The OnlyFans star revealed that the secret behind her transformation was not eating any sweets, desserts or sugars, staying in a daily calorie deficit, exercising at least twice a week and taking 10,000 steps in three to five times a week.
Now, before you get mad that I’m posting a before and after picture and talking about calorie deficits. I’ve been in a dark place mentally for the past 18 months when it comes to my health, fitness and working out – something I’ve loved in the past,” she wrote.
“I talked to a therapist, read a ton of books, and worked on myself to get to a place where I was happy and confident in taking control of my health, fitness, and moving my body.”

“So this was something I did for me and just me. In no way, shape or form is this advice or guidance.”
Karina kept saying ‘everyone should be moving their bodies and fueling themselves with healthy stuff’.
“If there’s one thing I’ve learned again through this process, it’s that numbers on a scale and the person in the mirror looking back at you has NOTHING to do with your health and fitness, especially your mental health and fitness.” !’
She explained that she had to break some bad habits and now feels much “lighter” physically and mentally.
“I am happier, clearer, more confident and determined, I sleep better and have more energy,” she continued.
“I am aware that I am going to upset some people by posting this. But this is MY journey into a better mental and physical space and it is not here to trigger you.”
If so, keep scrolling. I post in the hopes of motivating people to work on themselves. Whatever project or personal challenge they struggle with. This looks different for everyone.’

It comes after Karina was accused by critics of “faking” her body positivity, prompting her to hit back in a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday.
The OnlyFans star shared a gym selfie and said she just wants to be “the happiest and healthiest version” of herself, and it’s the trolls who aren’t body positive.
“To all the women who respond and tell me I’ve let them down now that I’m “losing weight and sharing my workouts.” To the women who tell me to block me for being fake, because I’m “obviously not body positive,” she began.
“I’ll tell you what’s not positive: your attitude and view of what body positivity is. If I want to work on myself and become fit and healthy, that’s being body positive.’

She added, “I try to be the happiest and healthiest version of myself.
“My mental and physical health has suffered and I want to make a positive change in my life.”
She went on to say that she does not intend to promote fad diets, but instead wants to share her “struggles” and become “happy and confident again.”
The entrepreneur decided by telling her critics to “be more open-minded” and not “choose to be offended” every time they see someone making healthy choices.
