And Sid Owen was carrying a Tupperware box with mysterious contents when he moved in on Monday — it looked like it could be tobacco.
The soap star, 50, kept things casual for the big day as he stepped out in black sweatpants paired with a blue zip hoodie worn over a plain black tee.

Sid was spotted moving boxes, a mattress and furniture from a large white van to his new home.
The EastEnders actor enjoyed chatting with his neighbor as he moved his belongings to his new abode.

The move came days after Ricky Butcher made his highly anticipated return to EastEnders, 10 years after parting ways with Walford.
The character – played by Sid Owen – has reunited with his mischievous sister Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), and she didn’t look too happy to see him.
Ricky’s return comes amid Janine’s spiraling behavior where she lies to fiancé Mick about their baby’s health amid jealousy over his closeness with ex-wife Linda (Kellie Bright).
Speaking of his return, the actor said: ‘I’m delighted to be back with EastEnders. I can’t wait to see what Ricky Butcher has been up to over the years and how he’ll react to seeing some familiar faces, including old flames. I’m excited to see the drama unfold.”

In July 2021, Sid said he was ‘proud to be alive’ after battling drug addiction and booze during his EastEnders days.
In an interview with The Sun, Sid admitted to snorting cocaine while learning his lines, spending up to £200 a night.
Sid said of his cocaine problems, “It’s recreational and then all of a sudden it’s like, ‘Wait a minute, I have to go through pages of scripts and then get to work’.”

The actor continued that in the 90s he was able to spend as much as £200 a night on his addiction and once drove to the TV studios ‘up to his eyeballs’.
He managed to leave drugs behind after going through rehab and also cited focusing on his fitness as a way to stay healthy.
