And on Friday’s episode of This Morning, Paris Hilton, 42, was slicked back to perfection in a pink maxi dress and hair bow.
The American heiress presented Alison Hammond, 48, and Dermot O’Leary, 49, as she left, baffled by how she sounds after her tone was much deeper and softer than expected.

Alison asked, “This is the authentic Paris?” this is not the voice I remember!’ to which new mom Paris explained, “This is my real voice, that was a character.”

Paris continued, “I’m not a dumb blonde, folks, I can just play it right.” After the good life I got stuck in that role.’
Indeed, the star recalled one time she “escaped” from a party with her pop star boyfriend Britney Spears, saying, “We got bored at a friends party so we climbed out a bungalow window.”
She also told viewers that her life is now a long way from her wild party animal in her younger years, emphasizing, “I’m older now, I like to cook lasagna for my husband and lay in bed with my baby.”
Paris – who revealed last month that she secretly welcomed a baby boy named Phoenix, with her husband Carter Reum via surrogate – spoke fondly of having her firstborn by surprise.
Being a working mom, she gushed, “I do it all, he’s my world, I miss him.” [Phoenix] and can’t wait to get home. I sing The stars are a blind acoustic version for him.’
Elsewhere on her promo tour, Paris told Magic Radio that she created a character for himself with a ‘Barbie perfect life’ as a ‘trauma reaction’.
The heiress admitted that she’s worked through her teenage trauma of abuse, including being sexually groomed by a 14-year-old teacher, by creating a character who couldn’t be further from the “shy” person she really is.
And because her “dumb” blonde alter ego was “magnified” when she starred in the reality series The Simple Life with friend Nicole Richie in the 1990s, she felt pressured to keep playing the role.

She said of her son, “I want to protect him and be with him every second. You have a maternal instinct kicking in that I’ve never had before.”
While the surrogate went into labor, Paris was so determined to protect her privacy that she even went to the trouble of disguising herself with a dark brown wig and checking into the hospital under an alias.
