Parents flying with their young child have come under fire today after other passengers complained that he was allowed to run amok on an eight-hour flight.

A traveler, believed to be from the US, shared a clip on Reddit earlier this week after flying alongside a family who were letting their daughter go crazy on the long flight.

Posting the clip with the caption “Letting the kids run wild during an 8 hour flight,” the user shared a video showing the youngster vigorously jumping on a tray table.

The male passenger in front seemed to be ignoring the commotion, even though his chair rocked furiously with the movement.

Many other Reddit users were horrified by the clip, saying they would be mortified if they were the child’s parents.

One wrote: “I would feel like a failed parent if my kids were doing this and I just allowed it.”

Meanwhile, another commented: “My parents would have thrown me out of the plane mid-flight.”

A third added: “The rebound is obviously infuriating, but so is bare feet on the layup table…

‘Always clean your stations friends.’

A fourth wrote: ‘I would never allow one of my children to upset someone in this way.

Talking a little loud is one thing. Making your toddler jump on airplane seats while holding on to someone else’s (strangers) chair is completely wrong.

‘I hope that man has been reimbursed somehow. Parents probably did not see anything wrong with this. Unacceptable.’

Shouldn’t the flight attendants have intervened? another commented. “If so, I hope the passenger gets some compensation from the airline.”

Meanwhile, others praised the front passenger for keeping his cool throughout the interaction.

“That guy is really patient,” added a third. “Some guys really need to control their kids.”

However, others said they would use a different tactic to handle the situation.

One person wrote: ‘I would ask the parents to stop her. She would then recline and recline the seat vigorously.

‘Children are resilient. It would be fine after the fall.

Earlier this week, a former flight attendant revealed the type of cabin crew he hates the most.

Kat Kamalani, from the US, worked on airplanes for six years and recently posted a TikTok video saying it’s not the babies that bother the crew, it’s the people who complain about the babies.

The social media star and mother of two explained that there is nothing worse than this type of complaint because it makes both parents and staff uncomfortable.
