A new weekly music show dedicated to local talent will start on Nova on Sunday.
Hosted by Brisbane 106.9 presenter Maddy Rowe, the debut of the Aus Music Show on March 19 will feature songs from Jessica Mauboy, Blusher and Mashd N Kutcher.
Rowe, who is also a pop artist performing under the moniker GENES, will also interview Zimbabwean-born RnB artist Kye from Melbourne.
Nova’s music director Jodie Williams said the new show aims to bring emerging artists and new songs to music fans.
Meanwhile, Rowe, who joined Nova in late 2021 after two years in Townsville with Southern Cross Austereo, has a thriving career as a pop star.

It comes after the first results of the radio classification survey were released this week.
The Kyle and Jackie O Show retained its spot as Sydney’s top rated FM breakfast radio program in the first ratings survey of 2023.
The show, hosted by longtime duo Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, drew an audience share of 15.9 percent.
The KIIS FM dream team attracted an impressive 842,000 listeners and continued their reign as the most listened-to radio show in Australian history.
According to the latest Australian Podcast Ranker results, published on Wednesday, Kyle and Jackie O were downloaded 4.7 million times in February and had more than one million listeners – numbers no podcast has seen since Casefile in October 2021.

Local Aussie performers, including Kye (pictured), will be featured in the new show
