The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.
Joining the intensely private 53-year-old actor was his longtime partner, Diane Kruger, 46, as well as his son Mingus Reedus, 22, whom he shares with his ex, model Helena Christensen, and his mother.
The ceremony, which was one of the few times Reedus has ventured out in public with his family, did the first Walking Dead cast member to receive a star at the iconic location.

The Boondock Saints actor’s plaque was placed near the star of George A. Romero, best known for directing the iconic zombie films Night Of The Living Dead (1968) and Dawn Of The Dead (1978).
Reedus’ star was introduced by director and horror film expert Guillermo del Toro and The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero.
Norman looked dapper in a black suit with wide leg pants and a matching black striped tie.
Diane looked dapper in a black-and-white houndstooth double-breasted blazer dress, while Mingus, who was the spitting image of his mother Helena, wore a three-piece black suit.
The actor’s appearance with a member of his family was rare, as he has stayed out of the spotlight in recent years, despite dating another actor and starring in one of the most popular shows of the last decade.
He met his partner Diane in 2015 while filming the movie Sky, and the two were a couple the following year. In November 2018, they welcomed a daughter named Nova, whom they went out of their way to keep out of the spotlight.
Legendary Status: The ceremony, which was one of the few times Reedus ventured out in public with his family, made him the first Walking Dead cast member to receive a star at the iconic location.

The reality star dated supermodel Helena Christensen from 1998 to 2003.
The couple welcomed their son Mingus in 1999, and even after their relationship fizzled out, they remained friends and committed to co-parenting their now-grown son, who had a run-in with the law earlier this year.
In March, the celebrity kid pleaded guilty to one count of disorderly conduct for punching a woman in the face, earning him a sentence requiring him to attend five counseling sessions.
Norman was also joined by his mother Marianne, a teacher. She looked gorgeous in a green butterfly skirt and black top.

Norman’s series The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror drama that premiered on AMC in 2010 and has since become one of the most popular shows in the subgenre to date, cementing Reedus’ stardom.
The show was based on a comic book series of the same name and has been the inspiration for several video games and six spin-off series.
Reedus’ career has expanded since he joined the cast of The Walking Dead in season 1 as Daryl Dixon, while his character’s brother was played by actor Michael Rooker.

In addition to acting, Norman has many other side projects that he has been working on, including three short films that he has released and a book showcasing his photography skills.

New show: Reedus is on board for the next Walking Dead spin-off called Dead City
After an impressive 11-season run, The Walking Dead is getting another spin-off and it was revealed to entertainment weekly last month that the name will be Ciudad Muerta.
Filming recently began in New Jersey and it will premiere in 2023 with a six-episode first season.
Reedus is on board for the upcoming spinoff, though the actor recently revealed that he suffered a severe concussion while filming the final episode of The Walking Dead.
The final season of The Walking Dead airs October 2 on AMC.
