The New York Jets have been successful in their search for wide receiver Allen Lazard.
The move will be seen as a big boost for the Jets’ trade negotiations with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The Packers star reportedly provided the New York franchise with a four-man wish list before revealing that he wants to move to the team.

The New York Jets have been successful in their search for wide receiver Allen Lazard.

The Packers star reportedly provided the New York franchise with a wish list of four men, including Lazard
It was reported earlier this week that Lazard had agreed to a four-year, $44 million contract and the unrestricted free agent has now completed the move.
The 27-year-old is in line to win $22 million in guaranteed money as part of the deal reached in the Big Apple.
The former Packers and Jaguars receiver joins the Jets following his best season in Green Bay with 60 receptions for 788 yards and a career-high 15 touchdowns.
Lazard was reportedly one of three wide receivers Rodgers wanted in New York, along with the Packers’ Randall Cobb and free agent Odell Beckham Jr., who hasn’t appeared in the league since Super Bowl LVI with Los Angeles Rams.
At 6-foot-5, Lazard will be a prime target for anyone drafted as the Jets’ signal caller.
He can also block when he’s involved in run schemes, which will only give his Jets teammates more rushing yards.
Lazard is also familiar with the Jets’ new offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, from their time together in Green Bay from 2019-21.
