Michael Clarke is being advised to keep a low profile after his late-night brawl with girlfriend Jade Yarbrough, according to a new report.
The cricketer’s buddies “strongly advise him to get away for a while.” He needs to save his career,” said an alleged source women’s Day this week.
The friends are said to be concerned that his “lucrative Indian TV commentary role could be up in the air” as a result of the scuffle and that he could “burn bridges” with those in his life, including close friend Karl Stefanovic, who is involved in the scandal.

Extraordinary footage emerged last Wednesday of a heated argument between Clarke and his girlfriend Jade Yarbrough while they were on holiday in Noosa.
In the video, which was filmed by an onlooker on Jan. 10 and later sold to The Daily Telegraph for reportedly $10,000, Yarbrough accused Clarke of cheating on her on Dec. 17 with his ex, fashion designer Pip Edwards.
Others in the group, including Today host Stefanovic, his wife Jasmine – Yarbrough’s sister – and famed accountant Anthony Bell, tried to defuse the fracas.

Yarbrough and Clarke, who was limping in the footage after injuring his hamstring, have since been slapped with fines for ‘public nuisance’.
A remorseful Clarke has since taken full responsibility for what happened.
“I am absolutely devastated that I put people I hold in high esteem in this position. My actions leading up to this altercation were nothing short of shameful and regrettable,” he said.

Edwards issued a statement the night the footage was released. ‘This is not my circus. Again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” she said. (Pictured: Edwards and Clarke in Sydney on October 17, 2020)
“I am devastated that by my actions I have put women of class and integrity, and my mates, in this situation.”
Edwards also issued a statement the night the footage was released.
‘This is not my circus. Again, Michael in his true nature has not taken responsibility for his actions and I was blatantly lied to,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
