Seen for the first time since his former tenant was arrested for the murder of Microsoft executive Jared Bridegan, 33, Mario Fernandez broke out of cover today but declined to comment in the biggest break in the high-profile case to date.
Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com show Fernandez dressed casually in maroon shorts and muscle shirt in front of his brother Guillermo’s home in Orlando, Florida.
Back inside after a brief and bizarre few moments of crouching close to the ground and shaving with an electric razor, Fernandez, 33, wouldn’t come to the door.
Instead, he stayed in the background to hear DailyMail.com’s repeated inquiries for an answer to the news that 61-year-old Henry Tenon has been charged on four counts in connection with the brutal murder of Bridegan on February 16, 2022.
Tenon has been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, complicity in a capital felony and felony child abuse, with state attorney Melissa Nelson stating categorically that authorities know he did not act alone.

But he made it clear he wasn’t interested in talking about the arrest of his lodger Henry Tenon, 61, for the murder of Jared Bridegan, the ex-husband of his estranged wife Shanna.
Mario now lives separately from Shanna, who moved across the country to Washington State

Today, Fernandez’s brother shielded him from questioning. Fernandez allegedly divorced Bridegan’s ex-wife Shanna, 34, in the months following the targeted killing.
Henry Tenon, 61, is charged with murder in the death of Jared Bridegan, 33
While Fernandez has remained in Florida, his estranged wife, mother of Bridegan’s two oldest children, has moved to Washington state.
She has not commented on news of Tenon’s arrest or rumors of her split from Fernandez, but DailyMail.com learned that they have been living separately since last September.
The following month, she put their marital home in Jacksonville Beach – just minutes from where Bridegan was killed – up for sale. She took the property off the market in January.
Bridegan was shot at close range as he took his usual route back to St Augustine and his wife Kirsten, who was home with their six-month-old daughter, London.
He had just dropped off his 10-year-old twins Abbie and Liam at his ex’s house after a “date night,” part of their controversial custody agreement following their 2016 divorce.
The agreement stated that each had one week off, one week off, and every other week the non-custodial parent had a regular Wednesday night with the kids.
A tire was left in the middle of a narrow stretch of road in the quiet residential enclave of the Sanctuary, forcing Bridegan to leave his Volkswagen Atlas to move it. His then two-year-old daughter Bexley – his first child with Kirsten – was trapped in the vehicle when her father was ambushed and killed.
Bridegan was killed on February 16, 2022, while driving from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, to his home in St. Augustine, after dropping off his 10-year-old twins with their mother.
Kirsten told DailyMail.com on Thursday that she has a message for everyone involved in her husband’s murder: ‘Enjoy your freedom while you still can’
The Microsoft executive was found 2.2 miles from Shanna’s home after dropping the kids off on Feb. 16
On Thursday, Kirsten, 31, spoke to DailyMail.com along with her brother-in-law Adam Bridegan, 36, as they process the most significant development yet in the investigation into Jared’s murder.
Kirsten had a message for everyone involved in the brutal murder of her husband Jared and still on the loose: “Enjoy your freedom while you still can.”
She said: ‘We were lucky, we were informed a little in advance that they had arrested someone. It’s hard to describe [that moment]. Your stomach just collapses. You have a whole bunch of questions. How did you find this person? How do they look like?’
Kirsten asked for a photo of Tenon – a man she had never heard of – before police held a press conference to announce the news yesterday.
The revelation that he had a connection to Fernandez is information she and the rest of Bridegan’s family are still processing.
She said, “It’s sickening because we do know Mario and thus the fact that Henry is connected to him. It’s quite nauseating.’
Kirsten has always been certain that whoever shot her husband – lured into getting out of his car on a quiet stretch of road by a tire left there as a trap – was not acting alone.
On Wednesday, state attorney Melissa Nelson doubled down on that, claiming authorities know Tenon was not the only actor, but a co-conspirator with another person or persons.
