Macaulay Culkin and his fiancée Brenda Song secretly welcome their second child

Brenda Song gave birth to a baby boy.

The 34-year-old actress and her fiancé Macaulay Culkin quietly welcomed a second son, named Carson, around Christmas, according to Us weekly.

Brenda gave birth to their first child in April 2021, a son named Dakota.

At the time, they also made a concerted effort to keep the news a secret until they felt ready to share it with the world.

In a brief statement, Brenda and Macaulay, 42, admitted they were “overjoyed” at the time.

Brenda also previously revealed that they are both hands-on parents. The stars have been romantically linked for five years.

Speaking about their approach, she shared, “My fiancé and I are very hands-on.

“We don’t have a nanny, but my mom has been here with us since my son was born,” she said.

‘When I was at work, my mother brought [my son] to set so I could breastfeed and see him during the day.

“People tell you a lot about labor and pregnancy, but not about the fourth trimester.

“To my friends who are pregnant, I say, get help,” she added.

“Because your instinct is to want to do everything and you physically can’t.”

In addition, Brenda emphasized the importance of good communication with Macaulay.

The actress – who began dating the Hollywood star in 2018 – said: “I think if you and your partner have kids, especially the first few months, you don’t have the patience to be polite to each other.

“Being communicative when you need help is so important. Instead of setting tasks, we simply feel each other out.

“I’ll put my son down and my partner says, ‘Let me feed the animals and prepare dinner.”

Her last Instagram post was from November 2022 and she hasn’t been seen in public for several months.

His last Instagram post was for January, where he showed off his breakfast, which consisted of a plate of Cheerios and a banana.

The couple reportedly got engaged in early 2022.

A source told People in late January 2022 that the lovebirds were engaged, and Brenda seemingly confirmed the news soon after when she was spotted in public wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger.

A source told Us weekly in March 2022 that the brand new parents are already looking forward to further family expansion.

“They definitely want more than one child. … It certainly could happen soon,” they claimed, adding that it wouldn’t be a “surprise” if the two had another child after Dakota’s first birthday.

“Brenda couldn’t be happier,” the source added. Becoming a mother has changed her. She always puts her son first especially when it comes to making career decisions. She is really focused on being a mother and giving him her full attention. She has a good support system around her, but she and Macaulay are really hands-on parents.”

The insider also said the couple planned to “get married in a year or two,” though their number one priority was raising Dakota.

“They are committed to each other and fully committed to it for the long haul. They are deeply in love with each other from the very beginning,” they said.

Brenda has kept busy with film and television roles in recent years, appearing in Hulu’s Dollface and as a voice actor on the Disney Channel series Amphibia.

Macaulay’s acting has been scarcer in recent years, though he joined his love when he made a cameo appearance on Dollface.

Most recently, he made a surprise guest appearance on HBO’s critically acclaimed comedy series The Righteous Gemstones as a long-lost relative of one of the main characters.
