Ryan added that Louise has been “stable” since her health issues and is recovering at home, describing his girlfriend as a “warrior.”
Scary: Louise Thompson’s fiance Ryan Libbey has revealed she was rushed to hospital after bleeding
In his Stories post, Ryan wrote, “2023 started off great for me and for my family.
“Last Friday it was turned upside down again. Louise bled again at home. Rushed to hospital for surgery and closely monitored for four days.
Louise is now home, stable and doing well. She’s a warrior!
“Leo took impetigo from the nursery. Dad is tired.
“We were about to land in St. Lucia for a two-week break. I’ll be back online soon.’
Bleeding is medically defined as blood loss from damaged blood vessels and can be internal or external.
It can occur in almost any part of the body and if it cannot be controlled or is caused by a serious injury, surgery may be required.
Earlier in the day, Louise took to her Instagram Stories to share her tips for “feeling better” and “staying connected to reality” while in the hospital.

The reality star wrote from her hospital bed: “What a whirlwind. Here are some things that make me feel better…and by better I mean more connected to reality.
“The last time I was in the hospital for an extended period of time (felt like an eternity), I was really disconnected from reality and couldn’t even turn on a phone or concentrate on anything for more than a minute. I learned a lot from that experience.
“TRY TO STAY CONNECTED AND CONTINUE AS NORMAL. Gosh, the last time I thought eating a Lindor chocolate ball my brother bought me was going to kill me, so I had to spit it out.”
She continued, “Talk to everyone you can find. Whether that’s nurses (don’t be offended if they have capacity and have to flee), relatives on the phone, friends on WhatsApp, strangers on Instagram.
“ALL TO TAKE YOUR MIND OFF. It might feel really weird to message people about such major life-threatening events as if they were day-to-day business, but for me it helped normalize (or make sense of) what happened and talk about it this time.

Oh no! Earlier in the day, Louise took to her Instagram Stories to share her tips for “feeling better” and “staying connected to reality” while in hospital
“Last time I think I waited for my brain to understand what happened until I opened up to people or saw people and that was a LONG TIME to wait.”
Louise revealed that she burst into tears after talking to a kind man who worked for a charity.
She continued, “I spoke to a very sweet man with the charity car and he made me cry because he was so nice.
‘Take a selfie. It may sound weird or vain, but good to remember what you look like. A quick look in the mirror reaffirms our sense of self.
‘Seeing your ‘self’ in the mirror is an everyday experience for many outside the hospital. I developed a fear of mirrors after being in hospital for so long last time, so I can’t let that happen again.’

‘What a whirlwind’: Louise told fans to try and get something to eat, talk to whoever you can, take a selfie and brush their teeth to try and stay in the real world

Opening: The TV personality also revealed that this time she was brushing her teeth in the hospital after being left with “brown spots around her gum line” last time
She also added that her “senses” are very important in bringing her “back to reality and normality,” whether through food or perfume.
‘Eat something as soon as you can. Taste is one of the BEST senses and we want to bring ourselves back to reality and normalcy,” she added.
‘I think for me the use of my senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch) is important as much as possible. On that note I could use some fragrance honestly the sweat my body expels when I’m on all the iv meds is horrible
“I just realized how weird it is that I write all these hospital tips as if someone else is actually going to go through the same weird experience as me.
“This might help, ME. PS. I’m bored (which is a good sign because it means I’m not super sick).”

Concerns: Louise revealed on Wednesday that she had now missed her flight to St. Lucia due to the health issue
It comes after Louise revealed on Wednesday that she has now missed her flight to St. Lucia due to the health issue.
She snapped a photo from her hospital bed and wrote, “We were supposed to fly to St. Lucia this morning.”
She admitted, “I’m so upset we can’t go because I really needed some sun and sea.”
However, valiantly trying to say positively, Louise added: ‘But at the same time I’m SO thankful this all happened on English soil because I have no idea what the outcome would have been abroad.’
It comes after Louise posted an update while in a hospital bed, writing, ‘I’ve been quiet here lately as I had a bit of an unexpected situation again.
“I don’t really know what to say at this point other than a huge thank you to everyone who kept the old ticker ticking.
‘I feel I have very much used up my quota of NHS services at this point. Eek. I can’t help but feel a little guilty about it all.
“I think the only message for today is to take NOTHING for granted. Oh and without sounding too dramatic, tell everyone you love them NOW.”
