Lottie Tomlinson reflects on the tragic loss of mum Johannah’s as she celebrates Mother’s Day

Lottie Tomlinson took to Instagram on Sunday to celebrate her first ‘happy’ Mother’s Day since the tragic loss of mother Johannah six years ago.

The influencer, 24, who recently turned a parent herself, lovingly cradled son Lucky, seven months, in the crib in the adorable clip from the family’s recent getaway to the Maldives.

Johannah, who was also the mother of former One Direction star Louis, sadly lost her life after a battle with leukemia at just 43 years old.

In the video, Lottie gazed adoringly at her son, who he shares with boyfriend Lewis Burton, 30, as they strolled along the golden sands.

She wrote: ‘The first time in 6 years this day is a lucky one, thanks to you my Lucky’.

“Thank you for making me a mother and making my dreams come true by sending so much love to everyone who is struggling today.”

Last year, Lottie reflected on the “scary” period following her mother’s death, as she struggled to find mental health care for herself and her then 12-year-old sisters, Daisy and Phoebe.

She was only 18 when she lost her mother and three years later her sister Félicité died of an accidental overdose.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, she confessed that it is “shocking” that medical professionals have not offered advice to the family because they had spent so much time in the hospital where her parent was being treated.

She said, “We were not offered anything. I think it was shocking because my first loss was very medical. My mom had cancer, so we were in and out of the hospital.”

“We were around medical professionals a lot, so to not actually get the help was pretty shocking, looking back. But at that moment it just felt very normal.’

It comes after Lottie’s heart rate skyrocketed on Tuesday when she shared a slew of bikini-clad snaps from her lavish holiday to the Maldives.

The influencer looked sensational as she posed alongside her young family on the picturesque island.

A selfie shared on Instagram showed Lottie posing in a white bikini.

Her blonde locks were styled straight and she wore a light makeup palette to accentuate her beautiful features.

In another shot, she slipped into a blue two-piece suit and held Lucky on her hip as she smiled at the camera.

A third photo showed Lottie on the beach at night in a dazzling, sparkly silver mini dress that showed off her long legs.

She shared several snaps of Lucky, with one of him wearing sunglasses and a striped hat, while a second showed him playing with the sand on the beach.

In another photo, Lewis was shown rocking Lucky and giving him a kiss in an outdoor shower.

Lottie also shared a selfie with her boyfriend shirtless, wearing a black bikini that showed off her ample cleavage.

She showed off her toned abs in another photo, wearing a black and white knitted crop top while holding Lucky on her lap.

Lewis and Lottie welcomed their first child together, Lucky, in August last year.

Alongside a photo of the newborn posted to her Instagram Stories, Lottie wrote “dreams come true,” while a post from her sister Phoebe confirmed that the couple had welcomed a baby boy.

The black and white photo shared by the new mom showed Lottie and Lewis’ baby snuggled up in a towel after birth.

Lottie also reposted a photo shared by her sister Phoebe showing Lottie pregnant, saying “I am so very proud of you. He is perfect. love you both.’
