Actor Lance Reddick, known for his roles on The Wire and the John Wick franchise, has died at the age of 60.
It is not yet clear what caused his death, but police sources have reported TMZ which appears to be ‘natural’.
According to the report, the actor’s body was discovered at his home in Studio City, California, on Friday morning around 9:30 a.m.
His sudden death will surprise movie fans, as Reddick was in the middle of a press tour for John Wick: Chapter 4, starring Keanu Reeves.

On Wednesday, Reddick posted a selfie with his dogs where he appeared to be at home, but did not reveal why he missed the New York premiere of the latest John Wick movie.
It is said that he had a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show scheduled for next week.
Reddick will arguably be best remembered for his role as Lt. Cedric Daniels on HBO’s hit show The Wire.
The actor enjoyed roles in blockbuster movies like Godzilla vs. Kong and Angel has fallen.

He also had recurring roles on hit TV shows Fringe, Oz, Bosch, and Lost.
The son of Dorothy Gee and Solomon Reddick, Lance was born in Baltimore, Maryland, where he attended the private Quaker Friends School of Baltimore.
He then went on to study music at Peabody Preparatory Institute, before moving on to acting.
In the early ’90s, Reddick attended the Yale School of Drama, eventually receiving a Master of Fine Arts in 1994.
