Lance Reddick dead at 60: The Wire and John Wick star ‘dies of natural causes’ at his LA home

Actor Lance Reddick – known for his roles in The Wire and the John Wick franchise – has died at the age of 60.

It is not yet clear what caused his death, but law enforcement sources have inquired TMZ that it appears to be ‘natural’.

According to the report, the actor’s body was discovered around 9:30 a.m. Friday morning at his home in Studio City, California.

His sudden death will shock movie fans, as Reddick was in the middle of a press tour for John Wick: Chapter 4, starring Keanu Reeves.

On Wednesday, Reddick posted a selfie with his dogs where he appeared to be at home, but didn’t reveal why he missed the New York premiere of the latest John Wick movie.

He would have made a guest appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show next week.

Reddick will probably be best remembered for his role as Lieutenant Cedric Daniels on the hit HBO show The Wire.

The actor played roles in blockbuster films, including Godzilla Vs. Kong and Angel has fallen.

He also had recurring roles on popular TV shows Fringe, Oz, Bosch and Lost.
