Ivanka Trump wears one of her late mother Ivana’s ‘favorite vintage dresses’ at a 1920s-themed party
Ivanka Trump paid tribute to her later mother, Ivana Trump, on Wednesday night by wearing one of her “favorite” vintage dresses to a 1920s-themed party.
The former senior White House adviser was joined by her husband, Jared Kushner, as she attended music executive Myles Shear’s 30th birthday party at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach.
Ivanka, 41, channeled her inner influencer the next day when she posted glamorous photos of herself modeling for her mom’s fringed dress from Bob Mackie.
She posed by her guitar for the footage, which shows her shaking her hips and smiling for the camera. She used two dance emojis to caption the playful post.
The vintage mini dress revealed a bit of her belly and was paired with silver strappy sandals for the party, which was attended by TikTok star Alix Earle.

Ivanka’s blonde hair was parted to the side and styled in waves, though the look was more old Hollywood than floppy.
In addition to the snaps on her feed, she shared a slow-motion video of herself dancing and blowing a kiss to her Instagram Stories.
‘Warming up for @managermyles’ 30th birthday 20s style. HBD! she wrote in the text on the screen.
Ivanka also posted a photo of herself with Jared, 41, in the hotel lobby before entering the party.
“Walking off into the night in one of my mom’s favorite vintage Bob Mackie dresses,” she wrote — and couldn’t help but call out her husband for ignoring the dress code.
Dressed to the nines in her flapper-inspired dress, Jared didn’t even don a suit for the occasion.
Instead, the “Breaking History” author wore a casual chambray button-down with jeans and New Balance sneakers, his signature off-duty look.
“Clearly Jared wasn’t up to the 1920s theme!” joked the former first daughter.

Ivanka revealed the dress belonged to her mother when she posted a photo of her posing with her husband, Jared Kushner, ignoring the theme of the 1920s party
Once inside, she headed to the photo booth with Myles’ fiancé, Modern Luxury Miami editor Alexa Shabinsky.
Ivanka and Jared have lived in Miami with their three children — Arabella, Joseph, and Theodore — since her father, former President Donald Trump, left office in January 2021.
She’s only recently returned to documenting her life on Instagram with her 7.5 million followers, but until Thursday, her posts mostly included photos of her vacationing, attending family gatherings and volunteering at food drives.
After officially leaving politics late last year, she seems to be embracing frivolity again and flaunting her glamorous outfits as she did before her father’s presidency.
Ivanka inherited her vintage Bob Mackie dress from her mother, who wore the beaded dress to attend Studio 54’s 25th anniversary party in New York City in 2002.
Photos from the evening show the mother-daughter duo laughing and posing for photos together.
Years later, Ivanka borrowed another Bob Mackie dress that Ivana wore in 1991 to wedding of fashion designer Joseph Altuzarra in 2014.

Ivana, the former president’s first wife, was found dead in her New York townhouse last July at the age of 73 after suffering blunt injuries from a fall down the stairs.
Ivanka, the socialite’s only daughter, opened up on Instagram in late December about her grief after celebrating Hanukkah with her family.
‘This is the first holiday period since my mother passed away. It’s true: grief during the holidays can be harsher than at other times of the year,” she wrote.
‘Learning to celebrate differently is a challenge. I try to be kind, patient and compassionate with myself and to honor and make space for all the emotions I experience.
“New memories are being made, my children laugh profusely, the presence of my 96-year-old grandmother at our table brings joy to all of us, but the emptiness is undeniable,” she continued.
“Losing a parent is one of the most painful passages in life for which one is never fully prepared. It touches the core of your being. And it takes a long time to get over how it disrupts you.
“To all who have lost a loved one this year, may hope sustain you, may fond memories comfort you, may friends and family surround you, and may love give you strength,” she concluded.
