Instagram is down with users around the world unable to access the website and app

Instagram went offline today, with thousands of people around the world complaining about issues.

Users cannot access Facebook through the app or website.

On Downdetector.com there are currently over 6,100 user-generated reports of an outage after 8:30am.

Instagram has not released a statement about the outage.
