This is the harrowing moment a traumatized dog stands on the ruins of his home after a Russian missile attack wiped out his family in Ukraine.

The atrocity in Dnipro yesterday morning killed the owners of Krym (Crimea), Natalia, her children Vasylisa, 12 and Ivan, 8, their grandmother Alla and their puppy Jack.

The devastated Krym (Crimea) was found howling over the ruins by rescuers who took him to the vet.

And his father returned home after fighting on the front lines to find his whole life shattered.

The footage shows Crimea looking lonely and lost as he stands motionless in the crater where his home used to be.

The desperate dog walks away as the filmer approaches the ruins and rubble.

Confused and scared, Krym did not want to leave the house and claims on social media said that he had been left deaf and blind by the blast.

The family lived on Polia Street in Dnipro but at the beginning of the invasion they moved to their grandmother’s house in another neighborhood, where the missile attack took place.

Krym was taken to the vets by first responders who found the dog sad.

The only survivors of the tragedy were Krym and his father. He returned home after fighting on the front lines to find his entire life shattered.

Dnipro Filatov, the mayor of Dnipro, said: ‘You have seen the photos of this shell pit about 8 meters deep and 10 meters wide. The people at the epicenter of the explosion literally evaporated.

‘Grandma Alla, mother Natasha, daughter Vasylisa, 12, son Ivan, 8, and little pet dog Jack.

“Only Crimea survived, the old dog shocked by the shell, and howled in the ruins.”
