Despite seeing her world ranking drop to 318, Bouchard looked relaxed and happy as she enjoyed time in and out of the water in a leopard print bikini.

Despite once holding a world ranking of No. 5, Bouchard has struggled to return to that form ever since, slumping to world No. 318 in 2013.

The 28-year-old tried once again to revive her career at the Australian Open, but was knocked out 3-6, 6-1, 4-6 by American Ashlyn Krueger in qualifying.

She also withdrew from the Wimbledon Championships in 2022 because no ranking points were offered due to the exclusion of the Russian and Belarusian players.

While Bouchard has battled form and injury, she didn’t let it get her down as she frolicked in the water on a clear and warm 24 degree Celsius winter day wearing a leopard print bikini.

While Bouchard’s tennis career might be on the decline, she remains a fan favorite with over 2.3 million. instagram followers.

Bouchard also gained fans around the world after he fulfilled a bet and went on a date with Twitter admirer John Goehrke.

The lucky bettor placed a bet on the outcome of the 2017 NFL Super Bowl with Bouchard and won, posting ‘If the Patriots win, do we have a date?’.

To the surprise of many, Bouchard complied with the agreement and the couple attended a Brooklyn Nets NBA game.

The two remain friends to this day, though Bouchard says the fallout had been “ugly” with all of Goehrke’s girlfriends after they “hated me”.

All of his girlfriends literally hate me. We have talked a lot about that. Every girl she dates tells her, ‘Why would you want to hang out with me when you dated Genie?'” she said.

I’m ruining his love life. It’s so sad.

We go out once a year. I’m not a threat, relax.
