A housewife living in Dubai has berated her ‘ill-considered’ partner after he decided to give her £16,000 to spend on Valentine’s Day – instead of buying her a gift herself.
Linda, 23, increased TikTok to explain how her boyfriend transferred the huge amount to her bank account to celebrate the holiday – but she was not impressed.
She claimed the gesture was “thoughtless” and “selfish” rather than romantic.
Linda said, “Okay, so today my husband deposited $20,000 into my bank account for Valentine’s Day.
‘I thought it was really thoughtless and selfish, there’s no thought behind it at all.
“Let’s go shopping anyway. Let me drown my worries in credit card bills.”

Linda stops by Christian Dior and admires the Himalayan Dior bag, before turning her attention to a custom Hermès Kelly bag with Monopoly artwork.
Hermès Kelly bags retail for anywhere from £6,000 to £11,000.
“It’s a modified Kelly with… Monopoly artwork on it,” she said. “Nobody else will have it and that’s what I love. I don’t want to associate with anyone else.’
Linda then enjoyed a sumptuous lunch near the Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building.
