A newly neutered dog let his owner know exactly how he felt about his choice to undergo the routine procedure with dramatic looks and constant howling.

Two-year-old Australian heeler Chance seemed more than upset when he lost his delicate parts, then shot Minnesota’s Katherine Kennedy.

He was not walking or urinating when he was picked up after surgery in October, instead choosing to lie still on a snowy road to cover his wounds with ice.

A viral TikTok of the puppy’s reaction has amassed more than 15.8 million views, and commenters were quick to offer Chance their sympathy, commenting that he seemed to be experiencing “flashbacks of war.”

“He kept howling in the kennel,” revealed Katherine, 27. ‘The car ride home! He seemed surprised all the time.

The owner, from Ramsey, Minnesota, said the worn-out and injured Chance also “absolutely hated the overalls he had on instead of the cone.”

“He wouldn’t move when it was on,” she commented.

Footage from the car ride home shows Chance sitting in the passenger seat in shock, giving Katherine a death glare.
