Johnny Manziel and Drake gave many sports fans a feeling of nostalgia in Houston Monday night.
The longtime friends linked up as the Started From the Bottom rapper made his customary walk through the crowd before performing at the Toyota Center Monday night.
It was the second of two concerts played by the Canadian star at the home of the Houston Rockets.
Manziel and Drake were naturally met with a rapturous welcome into the arena.
Following the concert, the former Browns quarterback took to Instagram to post some highlights of the night, and show his gratitude.

‘Honored to be a part of your journey @champagnepapi,’ Manziel wrote on Instagram.
‘You and your music have changed my life for the better. Thank you for letting the kid from Texas share that moment with you #SZN.’
The pair became friends during Manziel’s time at Texas A&M, where he was the starting quarterback and eventual Heisman Trophy winner in 2012.
Manziel’s brilliance and fall from his time at A&M to a failed two seasons with the Cleveland Browns was retold in one of Netflix’s Untold docuseries.
The Aggies great even has an OVO tattoo on his wrist, a nod to Drake’s record label by the same name.
