The star has been outspoken about aging and menopause, saying that as her children Holly, 21, Tilly, 19, and Chester, 16, grow up, she has been able to get back in touch with her younger self. youth.

Davina, who was perimenopausal at age 44, spoke with The Fabulous Magazine of the Sun about how the changes in her body had an impact on her sex drive, as she was constantly “exhausted” from waking up at night as a result of her symptoms.

Davina told the publication: ‘I lost something of myself. I changed. She couldn’t pinpoint how she had changed, but she definitely had. I didn’t feel myself.

“I felt spectacularly unattractive during my sweaty nights and my dry, sore vagina and my dry skin, and my brain fog. None of this made me feel sexy.

‘Menopause can be a very lonely place. You can start to feel like you’re the only person in the world who feels that way and that no one understands what you’re going through.’

Davina explored menopause in a documentary titled Sex, Mind and the Menopause, the follow-up to her 2021 show Sex, Myths and the Menopause.
