Taylor will be looking to become undisputed world champion in a second weight class on her return home to Ireland when she challenges Chantelle Cameron in Dublin tonight.
McGregor has endorsed Taylor to win the fight, stating that she is “quicker” and “more skilled” than her British opponent. However, the MMA star admitted that it would be a tough fight given Cameron’s credentials.
However, McGregor is confident in Taylor’s abilities, stating that she is an “exciting” fighter who was “born and bred” to box before stating that Taylor is a “fierce” athlete who becomes a “different person” once. who steps foot in the ring.

‘The engine is limitless. She is an exciting fighter to watch. I saw her for the first time I went to see her live it was like seeing a holy angel. I saw her walk into the ring and she became a completely different person.
It was fierce. This lady is real. Everyone thinks she’s sweet and shy, but she’s far from sweet and shy in the ring. She stays true to her beliefs and values and flies off. She is a fighter, born and bred. We are with her all the way.
McGregor went on to talk about the atmosphere in Ireland leading up to the fight and the reception Taylor will receive inside the 3Arena tonight.
The MMA star told Mail Sport: ‘The sound [in the 3Arena] will break the decimals. You know at a rock concert and they check the sound levels, because this is going to break the decimals.
“She’s a pro, so she can handle it.” I’m excited about it, she’s going to be crazy. Katie has this, she’s experienced, she’s easy going and when she rings the bell, she knows what to do.
