Coco Gauff, the 19-year-old American tennis sensation, is now a Grand Slam winner.
The world’s sixth-ranked woman upset Aryna Sabalenka, 2-6 6-3 6-2, at the US Open following some early struggles.
After dominating the first and struggling in the second, Sabalenka took a medical timeout while trailing 4-1 in the third to have her left thigh massaged by a trainer.
Alas, the break wouldn’t matter as Gauff only got better at the end of the match.
