CNN anchor Erin Burnett admits bank transactions showing Biden’s relatives received more than $1 million in Chinese cash ‘doesn’t look good’

  • The CNN host admitted that the Biden family’s money-locking business doesn’t look good to outside observers
  • The House Oversight Committee recently revealed that several members of the Biden family received more than $1 million in 2017
  • The money came from a business partner of Hunter Biden who had struck a deal with a Chinese energy company

CNN anchor Erin Burnett has admitted evidence that members of President Biden’s family received more than $1 million from various bills related to son Hunter’s Chinese business associates “doesn’t look good” for the First family.

On a recent episode of CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront,” the host spoke about subpoenaed financial records obtained by the House Oversight Committee.

The records show that money from the president’s troubled son was funneled to various members of the Biden clan, including James Biden, and Beau Biden’s widow, Hallie Biden.

Burnett brought forward the subpoenaed financial records showing Hunter’s business partner funneled money to several of his family members, with “Just Security” co-editor Ryan Goodman.

She said any layman would think the Chinese payouts “don’t look good.”

However, Goodman said in all likelihood nothing “legally harmful” would come out of the documents, even though they show “potentially unethical” behavior.

“When I look at all the facts stated in the four-page memo, it looks potentially unethical. But it’s hard to link it to any kind of illegality or crime,” Goodman said.

Goodman also noted that the payments could resemble “influence trading” between foreign assets and the Bidens, as some Republicans have been warning for years, but reiterated that he saw nothing illegal at play.

It was only recently that CNN began covering Hunter Biden’s allegedly corrupt behavior, first releasing its own report on the Biden family’s questionable ethics in January — more than two years after the New York Post first reported on the Biden’s laptop. Hunter reported.

The House Oversight Committee — headed by Representative James Comer of Kentucky — is leading an investigation into the Biden family’s potentially suspicious banking records.
