Julio Enciso scored a superb equalizer for Brighton at home to Manchester City, with Jamie Redknapp describing the goal as ‘Ronaldoesque’.
After Phil Foden had given City the lead, Brighton equalized on 38 minutes through a brilliant goal from Enciso.
The highly talented youngster went for goal from 25 meters out and managed to find the top corner, leading Redknapp to compare the shot to goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Enciso has made a huge impact during his first season in the Premier League and has now scored four goals in the division. His goal against Chelsea was also from an important distance.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp said: “That’s why it’s so important that you have a goalkeeper who can play from behind.” It’s Ronaldo style, it’s an incredible shot, it’s the best shot I’ve seen in the Premier League for so long. The goalkeeper lacks five meters, what technique.
