Boy seriously injured in workplace accident at Edinburgh North, Adelaide 

A teenage boy has been seriously injured in a horror work accident in Adelaide. 

The 15-year-old boy was injured at the intersection of Stebonheath and Hewittson roads in Edinburgh North, about 40km from the CBD, at 4.30pm on Tuesday. 

The teenager suffered serious leg injuries after he reportedly became trapped under a three-metre-long concrete slab. 

Work was underway to transfer the concrete barriers when the incident occurred.  

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene and the injured teenager was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
