Manchester United took a giant step towards a top four finish by beating Bournemouth 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

United started brilliantly and took the lead on nine minutes when Casemiro brilliantly adjusted his body to acrobatically volley a Christian Eriksen pass. However, Bournemouth still posed a threat, with Dominic Solanke forcing a hard stop from David de Gea.

The visitors controlled most of the second half but were unable to end the game, and were beholden to their goalkeeper late on when De Gea made a crucial one-on-one save to bar substitute Kieffer Moore.
