TJ Holmes and Amy Robach were out and about looking particularly cheerful on Friday as she and Andrew Shue finally got their divorce deal months after her fling saw their 12-year marriage crumble to the public, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The estranged couple worked out their agreement privately through mediation more than six months after their split, sources confirmed, with shared custody of their beloved dog.
The former Melrose Place star was spotted by DailyMail.com on Thursday picking up Maltipoo Brody from Amy’s daughter at her Manhattan apartment.
“It’s a terribly sad end to what was a great marriage,” a former friend of the exes told DailyMail.com. “Andrew liked her so much.”

Married for 12 years, Robach and Shue didn’t seem to be going strong until July when she posted a selfie of the beloved couple on vacation, but split a month later
“But at least they resolved their breakup through mediation rather than a nasty legal battle.” And they arranged custody of Brody.”
As DailyMail.com previously reported, Robach and Shue’s marriage fell apart last August, shortly after the actor, 56, learned of his wife’s affair with co-star TJ Holmes and moved out of their West Village apartment.
But despite their divorce and the GMA lovers publicly continuing their romance, the details of the divorce have managed to remain a secret after Robach and Shue opted to work out a settlement out of court before making their split official .
The ousted GMA host, 50, and the Melrose Place actor, 56, were married since 2010 but have no children of their own.
But the exes should work out a custody deal for Maltipoo, Brody, who was part of The blended family of Robach and Shue since 2014.
However, the two seemed to have worked out a joint custody deal early in their divorce, when they handed over the pup in an awkward encounter in January, DailyMail.com reported at the time.

On Thursday, Shue was spotted picking up the dog again shortly after their divorce settlement, this time from his estranged wife’s daughter outside Robach’s Manhattan home.
The father-of-three appeared to be in good spirits and chatted briefly with his former stepdaughter, who later offered him a comforting hug before they both went their separate ways.
Meanwhile, Robach beamed with joy on Friday as she stepped out with lover TJ Holmes in New York City.

Looking more giddy than ever, the television star couldn’t stop smiling as she walked arm-in-arm with her beau outside his apartment in the Financial District, where she’s spent a lot of time since her divorce, exclusive DailyMail.com photos show.

His divorce from attorney Marilee Fiebig, 45, with whom he shares a 10-year-old daughter, is ongoing.
The couple reportedly split late last summer, around the same time Shue and Robach’s marriage was collapsing, but Holmes didn’t officially file for divorce until late December — a month after DailyMail.com revealed the GMA stars’ secret romance.

Shue seemed to be in a good mood and chatted briefly with the teenager, the younger of Amy’s two daughters.

Fiebig broke her silence about the scandal in early January, in a statement through her divorce attorney, obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, in which she criticized Holmes’s “lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity.”
She and Holmes met in 2009 and were married in March 2010 in Memphis. Their daughter Sabine was born in January 2013.
Sources told DailyMail.com that Holmes and Robach crossed the line from close friends and co-stars to lovers last June while covering the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in London.
Many had doubted the couple would survive the turbulence that blew up around their secret romantic getaway last year.
But a friend of the couple previously told DailyMail.com, “TJ and Amy are more in love than ever.”
Robach and Holmes were officially pulled off ABC’s airwaves for good in late January after the network’s internal review into their affair extended their eight-week suspension.
But even as their future at GMA was on the line, they undauntedly continued to enjoy their romance despite the scandal, often flaunting their love with public displays of affection on the streets of New York City and together across the country and abroad.

Amy Robach and TJ Holmes are now gearing up to compete in Sunday’s NYC Half Marathon — where their relationship would have taken a turn for the worse last year
The former colleagues, who are said to have bonded off screen due to their mutual love of running, will now compete as a couple for the first time in the 21.1-mile New York Half Marathon.
Earlier this week, internal sources told DailyMail.com that the couple’s intense workout regimen — as well as their constant “intimate workouts” behind closed doors — has got them in the “best shape of their lives.”
“TJ and Amy have come full circle. Their relationship grew into more than friendship when they were training for the half marathon last year,” a source says.
“And now, a year later, it’s devoted lovers who will prove their mettle in the race this weekend.”
According to a friend, “They’re in the best shape of their lives, and one of the reasons is their very active sex life.”
‘Are they concerned with the Kama Sutra? I can not say it. But in addition to their intensive training, their private intimate workouts give them that little bit of extra stamina.’
The two previously joined the event last March when they were still married to their respective spouses and, as DailyMail.com previously reported, it was while they were training for the race that their friendship began to evolve into something more.
