Pregnant Amy Childs has opened up about her late-night health scares when she was forced to call the doctor in the early hours of the morning.

The only way is Essex star, 32, is preparing to welcome twins with her boyfriend Billy Delbosq and is approaching her due date.

And on Saturday, she revealed she had been shocked at the hospital earlier in the week and feared she was going into early labour.

To write for OK! Magazineshe explained that she had to call the hospital at 3:30 a.m. because of severe abdominal cramps.

She said, “A few nights ago I couldn’t sleep at all. I got up around 1 am and my stomach was really cramping.’

“I’ve had it before, it’s not like it’s my first baby, but I told Bill something felt different,” she added.

She said she called the hospital because she didn’t want to get there in the early hours to be told it was Braxton-Hicks, which are contractions that occur as the body prepares for delivery.

Amy admitted she didn’t need to go to the hospital but would have if the babies weren’t moving, saying she was worried the pain was a sign of early labor.

She said, ‘When I got the stitches I was like, ‘Oh my God, are they coming now?

“I asked people on Instagram when they were going to give birth to twins, and a lot of people said around 35/36 weeks, and I’ll be 35 weeks on Monday.”

The interview comes after Amy revealed OK! that she was expecting twins with her boyfriend Billy and said it came as a shock to both of them.

The reality TV star said she hadn’t expected to conceive so soon and found out she was pregnant just two months after going off birth control last year.

The couple then had an even bigger shock in store for them when they later found out that they were expecting twins.

Amy also recently revealed that she and her beau have landed their own ITVBe show, titled Amy Childs: The Twin Life.
